Rodney Hood says his right foot injury feels like "walking on rocks or glass is poking you" with each step.

Well the latest injury news regarding the Utah Jazz rookie hurts, too.

Hood is now listed as out indefinitely, the Jazz announced Thursday evening. Plantar fasciitis, a strain of the tissue that stretches from the heel to the toe, has already kept Hood out of six straight games with more absences expected.

"He will continue to participate in treatment, conditioning and restricted weight training for approximately two to three weeks at which time he will be reevaluated," according to a team press release.

Hood has appeared in six games for the Jazz, averaging 4 points and 3.3 rebounds in about 15 minutes. In June, the Duke product was the was the No. 23 pick in the draft.
