A week later, not much has changed. The linchpin of Real Salt Lake's offseason will be the future of general manager Garth Lagerwey, due to be a highly sought-after free agent when the final days of his four-year contract extension expire on Dec. 31. In RSL's exit interviews last Wednesday, Lagerwey said he was in no rush to make a decision on whether he plans to stay for an ninth season with the club and beyond.  Conversations with owner Dell Loy Hansen were expected to take place within the last week. So, anything new to report, Garth?  "Nothing yet," Lagerwey told the Tribune Tuesday night. "We have talked, but there's nothing to report."  Lagerwey reiterated what he originally voiced last week, that no official timetable on his decision is set. That certainly won't calm the nerves of the RSL fan contingent, who on the heels of coach Jason Kreis' departure last December, are predictably tense as Lagerwey's future with the club remains up in the air.   RSL remains in the process of deciding on whether or not to extend qualifying offers to out-of-contract players like Nat Borchers, Chris Wingert, Cole Grossman and Abdoulie Mansally. Lagerwey said the club must officially notify players by Dec. 1, but doesn't expect decisions to be made public until a few days prior to the deadline.   More stuff you already know: Wednesday marks the first real domino of this 2014-2015 offseason: The Chivas USA Dispersal Draft. RSL's fellow 2005 expansion club dissolved and will be repurposed under new ownership group as Los Angeles Football Club starting in 2017. Which means there are players to select, if clubs so choose. The draft will be held via a private teleconference call with representatives from each club Wednesday. Each club will be given one minute to determine a selection or decide to pass.   Here is the order in which MLS teams will pick Wednesday. (Unfortunately for all 20 teams, Erick 'Cubo' Torres is not available).  1. FC Dallas  2. New York City FC  3. Sporting Kansas City  4. DC United  5. New England Revolution  6. Montreal Impact  7. Orlando City SC  8. Colorado Rapids  9. San Jose Earthquakes 10. Real Salt Lake  11. Houston Dynamo  12. Portland Timbers  13. Chicago Fire  14. Toronto FC  15. Columbus Crew SC  16. LA Galaxy  17. Philadelphia Union  18. New York Red Bulls  19. Seattle Sounders FC  20. Vancouver Whitecaps FC  RSL picks 10th — again, if it wants — but the trick to the Dispersal Draft as Lagerwey has noted is that every player selected at their full 2015 budget and options must be exercised. Essentially it's an equivalent to the first stage of the Re-Entry Draft.   "All options are on the table," Lagerwey said Tuesday. "I don't know if there will be a ton of interest when we select, but we are absolutely open to adding a player through that mechanism."  Who could be options for RSL in a hypothetical world of foreseeing the future?  » Donny Toia: His name has been floated around, and it's not a huge surprise. RSL's first-ever Homegrown player made a name for himself as a left back in 2014 with Chivas after rejuvenating his career in Southern California. The 22-year-old started 24 games at left back and with Wingert out of contract, Toia could theoretically be an option to get younger at the position. If he's there.   » Thomas McNamara: The dude with the mullet was very good as a rookie with Chivas. But in a very short amount of time. The 23-year-old out of Clemson started Chivas' first six matches of 2014, notching a goal before suffering a torn ACL early in the year. If RSL is looking to add depth to its outside diamond spots, McNamara could pose as a viable project there. Odds are he'll be taken earlier, but perhaps the serious knee injury will scare other teams off. He's an intriguing player.   » Martin Rivero: Rivero, like McNamara, suffered an ACL tear in 2014. Like McNamara as well, he could infuse some youth and attacking prowess for RSL. The 25-year-old spent his first two years in MLS with Colorado. Could be another low-risk, high-reward scenario, should RSL decide to snag Rivero if he's there at No. 10.  » Marco Delgado: Obviously, Chivas' Homegrown players are available in the Dispersal Draft and the 19-year-old Delgado has versatility. He's seen time both as an outside back and in various spots in the midfield. If RSL is looking to take a waiver on a young player to add to its young, building core, but it's highly doubtful Delgado is there to pick that late.  » Caleb Calvert: MLS extraordinaire Brian Dunseth name-dropped Calvert on ESPN700's OnFrame Tuesday night as a player to watch. The 18-year-old Calvert, Chivas' other Homegrown product, didn't see any time with the senior team in this year, but the midfielder is rangy and apparently filled with intrigue. Again, if RSL wishes to stockpile young talent, the opportunity could be there.   » Pass: It's a four-letter word that RSL fans may be happy or unhappy to see.  These are all non-informed, non-educated guesses. Whether the RSL coaching staff and front office want to add a player or not Wednesday remains unknown. There will either be discussion of who the new guy is or there won't be. This will be a recurring theme this offseason, so get used to it.   -Chris Kamrani Twitter: @chriskamrani
