Time to take a look at what is going on with the other Aggie teams this week. The volleyball team (9-9, 5-3) is busy with a match against Air Force Thursday at 7 p.m. and a home match against New Mexico on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Aggies have a three-match winning streak against the Falcons and a three-match losing streak against New Mexico.

The match against Air Force features a Halloween promotion in which fans dressed in costumes can get in for free. Caution there though, according to the school release, masks or costumes involving weapons aren't allowed.

Gymnastics fans can get a preview of their team when the Aggies host an intrasquad meet Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. in the HPER practice facility. The Aggies will split into two teams and show off their creativity and personality by dressing up in costumes.

Other chances to see the team include the Meet the Aggies event on Nov. 8 and the Blue and White intrasquad meet on Dec. 3.

The season opens Jan. 9 when the Aggies host Air Force.

The Aggies ended the 2014 season with their first NCAA regionals appearance since 2007, finishing sixth in the competition.

The Aggies announced Thursday they have added three walk-ons to the team in Haley Burke (Northglenn, Colo.), Miranda Hone (Las Vegas) and Cidney Robinson (Downers Grove, Ill).

The soccer team heads to Boise State for a 3 p.m. match on Friday. The Aggies (10-6-2, 6-3-1) already have clinched a berth in the Mountain West tournament along with San Diego State, Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado College. San Diego State, which won the regular season title for a third straight year, hosts the tournament Nov. 4-8.

On thursday, Jeannie Woller and Taryn Rose were named to the Capital One Academic All-District Second Team with Woller sporting a GPA of 3.96 and Rose a GPA of 3.74.

Finally, the men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Mountain West Championships in Fresno, Calif., on Friday. The women's 6k race begins at 11 a.m. and the men's 8k race begins at 11:45 a.m. Both teams are ranked 13th in the Mountain Regional Team rankings.

Looking ahead, the women's basketball team will host Western New Mexico in an exhibition game Monday at 7 p.m. as they prepare for the 2014 season, which begins Nov. 14 with a game at Oregon.
