Posted: 10:51 AM- CLEARFIELD -- Remember that report of a Syracuse High School girl being raped in an LDS church parking lot?
2News reports that it didn't happen. Police are now saying the girl fabricated the story.
The girl had told police the rape occurred May 23 at the church parking lot in Clearfield.
But Lab results did not support the young woman's claims. Eventually, she confessed to making it all up.
2News reports the Davis County Attorney's Office will be charging the teen in juvenile court with filing a false police report, a class A misdemeanor.
