A feud between families led to the stabbing of a Clearfield man on Friday, police said. A 40-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times in and around his torso after he argued with another 40-year-old man near an intersection at 400 West and 300 North in Clearfield at 4:48 p.m., said Assistant Police Chief Greg Krusi. The two men are related by marriage and have been involved in an "ongoing family feud," Krusi said. The victim was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital Center in Ogden where he was treated for his injuries. He is expected to recover. The suspect, a known gang member, was transported to Ogden Regional Hospital for a cut to his arm, Krusi said. The suspect was released from the hospital into the custody of Clearfield police. He was booked into the Davis County jail on suspicion of felony aggravated assault. - Melinda Rogers
