A Vietnam memorial exhibit called The Wall That Heals will come to Ogden in June as part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1481's "Old Gloryous" program.
The wall will come to the Newgate Mall, at 36th Street and Wall Avenue.
The half-replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., is one of two or three that travel the country, Ogden VFW program chairman Dennis Howland said.
"There are a lot of people who never get a chance to go back to Washington, D.C.," he said. "This is an opportunity to let them visit a memorial, or at least a replica of one."
It is scheduled to arrive in Utah on June 10, and be on display June 12-15. The wall is not scheduled for any other stops in Utah, Howland said.
Several events, including concerts, medal presentations and a flag-retiring ceremony are scheduled to coincide with the wall exhibit.
