Two alleged Oxycontin bandits were charged in 3rd District Court on Thursday with first-degree felony aggravated robbery.

The pair, a 29-year-old Taylorsville man and a 34-year-old Murray man, are accused of robbing Southwood Pharmacy in Sandy of 207 Oxycontin pills May 10.

According to court documents, one of the men called the pharmacy five minutes prior to the robbery. He and the other man, carrying guns, then entered the pharmacy and demanded the prescriptions.

Police traced the phone call to a man who later admitted to the robbery and told police who helped him stick up the store, court documents state.
