A Logan man was in critical condition Sunday after his motorcycle slid under a pickup that pulled out in front of him on U.S. Highway 40 in Heber City. The motorcycle driver, 50, was traveling north on U.S. 40 when a Dodge pickup crossed the highway eastbound at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday, troopers said. The motorcyclist laid his bike down and became lodged under the pickup. He was flown from the scene by helicopter. His wife, 58, was riding on the back of the motorcycle and was flown to Intermountain Medical Center in serious condition. U.S. 40 was closed for about an hour after the crash.
