A public meeting regarding the proposed Ruby Pipeline is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at the Box Elder High School gymnasium, 380 S. 600 West, in Brigham City.
As now proposed, the 680-mile pipeline would begin near Opal, Wyo., and run through parts of Rich, Cache and Box Elder counties in Utah. The $2 billion project would move 1.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Public comment will be taken tonight as part of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's research on the proposal. - Arrin Newton Brunson
