Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. will undergo shoulder surgery on Wednesday, which will take him out of the office completely or with a limited schedule for the first two weeks.

Following that, he'll spend another two months with his right arm in a sling.

"He is much more committed this time to following the doctor's procedures," spokeswoman Lisa Roskelley said Friday.

At a recent checkup, the doctor discovered Huntsman had undone the previous surgery on his right rotator cuff, which he had undergone early last July after injuring it while working out. Huntsman will have to have the same surgery again.

"It's something that needs to be taken care of," Roskelley said. - Sheena McFarland
