Posted: 11:25 AM- A man found in a Draper ravine last month overdosed on methamphetamine, police said, but detectives still want to know who might have put him there.
Eric Timberlake, 29, might have died instantly after taking a massive dose of the drug, said Draper police Sgt. Gerry Allred. Detectives have not eliminated homicide as a possibility, Allred said.
Timberlake's body was found Feb. 23 at 1200 Mike Weir Drive in a ravine near a golf course. Allred said Timberlake might have been there since Feb. 8 - the last day police can confirm he was alive.
"We're leaning toward that he was placed there or dumped there," Allred said.
Allred said Timberlake might have attended a party in the area.
Anyone with information in the case can call Draper police at 801-576-6300.
