A video posted to the video-sharing site Tuesday shows Lone Peak football coach Monte Morgan restraining a student in a head lock and yelling at the boy to shut up.
The incident happened two weeks ago and both the coach and the two students involved were suspended for two days while administrators investigated, Alpine spokeswoman Rhonda BromÂley said.
She said two students were fighting in a Lone Peak locker room and the coach went in to break up the fight. One of the students was belligerent toward the coach and was trying to continue the fight with the other student and that's when the coach physically restrained him, she added.
Bromley said all three have returned to school.
Morgan will finish the school year and move on to another job, which he had already accepted long before the incident, Bromley said.
