Super Dell's to-do list:

Now that "Super Dell" Schanze has revealed his political ambitions to run for the state's highest public office, it wouldn't hurt to learn a little about our potential governor-to-be.

Here's a Q&A with the Utah celebrity after he declared his candidacy against popular Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon - a campaign he quickly shed to take on Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.

Q: Why did you decide to run for office?

A: We obviously need more Americans in office who will really stand up for what is right and fight for those that need it. People have seen what I've been through; I'm sure there are many others going through far worse. Who is going to stand up for them? Do you think a politician is going to stick their neck out when the completely illogical or unpopular situation happens to you? People need a real person who believes in liberty and justice for all and is willing to fight for it. People are getting sued, robbed, ripped off and starting to fear the police and government more than the criminals. Every time I turn around it seems the government is telling me more and more about what I can and can't do. This is America; it's time for some logic and intelligence and less arguing about what really is good and bad.

Q: What are your priorities, should you be elected?

A: To do everything I can to fight for liberty and justice for all.

Q: Do you find it daunting to take on Mayor Peter Corroon, who polled so favorably after rejecting the RSL soccer stadium deal?

A: Not at all, matter of fact, most of the B.S. that happened to me and my companies happened while he was in office. I think he should find those failures in government during his term very, very daunting.

Q: Are you concerned about how your past missteps with the law might affect your campaign?

A: I haven't actually had any missteps with the law, silly media person. I think my being charged with numerous things that are not against the law is a big help. I'm now quite passionate about injustice in our legal system. I can see the problems quite clearly. It's time to make it legal to obey the law. If we are charging honorable people in our society with all sorts of crimes, then we need to focus on the false-charges problem - not the honorable people.
