A bill that would require all Utah classrooms to display an American flag and most to display a copy of the U.S. Constitution is well on its way to becoming law. The Senate passed SB190, sponsored by Sen. Allen Christensen, R-North Ogden, by a 26-0 vote Wednesday. Christensen said the constitutions would come mainly from donations for classrooms for students in fourth through 12th grades. Schools would be required to solicit donations for the items before spending school money. The bill now heads to the House.
