Posted: 8:24 AM- The Utah Department of Transportation will unveil a 30-year vision for northern Utah this week.

Plans for the next few decades in Weber and Davis counties will be presented in a pair of open houses tomorrow and Thursday. The plans were drawn up with safety, economic development, environmental impact and mass transit in mind.

UDOT officials will suggest four different options and ask for public feedback. Residents will be able to pick and choose projects they like best from the different approaches.

The department will also introduce a list of short-term projects it hopes to complete over the next five years, like widening roads.
