Two anti-war groups will conduct a peace vigil and rally on the grounds of the Historic Utah County Courthouse in Provo today. The Utah County chapters of Mormons for Equality and Social Justice and Radical Action Against War (RAAW) planned the event to coincide with International Peace Day, according to spokesman Ash Bledsoe. Along with a candlelight vigil, the event will feature speeches from Vietnam veterans and a chance for people to write letters to Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, protesting the war in Iraq. The event begins at 7 p.m. at the courthouse grounds, 51 S. University Ave.
