Sonny J. Olsen became a member of the Utah State Bar last October, five months after receiving his law degree from the University of Iowa.

Olsen then became a partner in a firm with Dusten Heugly, who had formed his own firm in 2005.

The firm's Web site says it has offices in Provo and Price and is expecting to open a branch in Emery County.

Personal injury and wrongful-death cases are two areas of the law the firm handles.

Olsen, according to the Web site, has a bachelor's degree from Weber State University and a master's of business administration from the University of Utah (1999). He then worked on technology projects for the federal government and several companies - Excite.com, ADP Inc., Siebel Systems - and also was a venue technology manager for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC) during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
