Posted: 2:34 PM- A federal judge on Monday gave a 10-year prison sentence to the man who once allegedly described himself as the "king of child pornography."

Kirk A. Swearingen also will be on probation for life after pleading guilty to one count of possessing child pornography.

Swearingen, 46, was arrested last year after he tried to use false information to rent a Salt Lake City apartment. During that investigation, detectives found computer discs with child pornography.

Federal law enforcement officers say Swearingen told agents he was the "king of child pornography."
