Oxycontin robber hits West Jordan pharmacy

Posted: 9:38 AM- WEST JORDAN - Police are looking for a male suspect in the holdup of an Albertson's pharmacy in West Jordan.

The gunman struck about 3:30 p.m. Monday, demanding the drug Qxycontin. Surveillance video caught the robber at the store located 6950 South Redwood Road.

KUTV reports the man walked up to the counter, flashed the pharmacist a gun and demanded the high addictive drug.

Police describe the man as a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches, no facial hair, wearing a long sleeved purple shirt and a baseball cap with writing.

Security cameras also taped the man leaving in a blue Ford Taurus.
