Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. Monday nominated three Utahns to six-year terms on the state Transportation Commission.
With Senate approval, Stuart Adams, a former state House member, would replace Kenneth Warnick in representing Davis, Weber, and Morgan Counties.
Meghan Holbrook, who withdrew as a candidate for Salt Lake City mayor, and a former chairwoman of the Democratic Party, would replace Jan Wells for Salt Lake and Tooele counties.
Jerry Lewis would be reappointed to represent Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Washington and Wayne counties. He has served on the commission since 2002. The state Senate meets April 18.
