Inquiring minds will get the rest of Rep. LaVar Christensen's mysterious "America needs Utah" slogan today as the congressional candidate embarks on a whistle stop tour of Southern Utah. "America needs Utah. It's so close, one seat could make a difference," said Jason Carlton, from Vanguard Media Group. Christensen's Big Red Whistle Stop Tour just happens to coincide with two Rural Utah Legislative Rallies scheduled in Cedar City and St. George to bolster the campaigns of Republican legislative candidates. As a result, Christensen is drawing in Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr., Lt. Gov. Gary Herbert, Attorney General Mark Shurtleff and legislative leaders. The tour begins at the Iron County Courthouse in Parowan, traveling through Enoch, Cedar City, St. George and Washington City. Huntsman is only scheduled to appear at the legislative rallies. - Rebecca Walsh
