Two Utah students have been selected as finalists for a national environmental award sponsored by engineering conglomerate Siemens AG.

The students, Duke Dunham and Shravan Parthasarathy, developed a recycling program for Wasatch Junior High School in Salt Lake City.

The Utah finalists now advance to a national competition sponsored by the Siemens Foundation.

The winners of the national award will receive a $10,000 savings bond, a trip to Yellowstone National Park and a guest appearance on the "eco-lifestyle" television network Planet Green.
