Reader Advocate column dropped

The Salt Lake Tribune has eliminated its Reader Advocate column that appeared on this page on Saturdays. Like many newspapers across the country, we have found it necessary to discontinue the Reader Advocate position in the face of unprecedented financial challenges in the newspaper industry.

Be assured that The Tribune still wants to hear from its readers. Callers can dial 801-257-8506 to pass on concerns, complaints and compliments. Emails sent to reader.advocate@sltrib.com and regular mail still will be read, and responses given where appropriate. We also encourage readers to seek out individual staff members when they have questions and concerns about coverage. If you are unsure how to find one of our journalists, call 801-257-TRIB (8742) during daytime hours and we will help you connect.
