Nearly two dozen arrests were made in central Utah's Juab and Sanpete counties when a multi-agency law enforcement task force cracked down on a suspected drug ring.
Twenty-three suspects were taken into custody Wednesday, leaving six still to be rounded up on Thursday. Those arrested were booked into Juab County jail on drug-related charges -- 155 felony counts, in all.
KSL News reports that the suspects arrested allegedly all were involved in drug deals they unknowingly carried out with undercover agents.
The Wednesday morning raids even took down the owner of a business on Nephi's Main Street. Deputies say the owner was selling prescription drugs out of his auto parts store.
The roundup was a joint effort between the Juab County and Sanpete County sheriff's offices, which have teamed up to fight drugs in their counties.
