A woman died when her pickup truck collided with another truck Monday night on Redwood Road in Taylorsville.

Taylorsville police Det. Shannon Bennett identified the victim as Charlette Kirk, 55, of Salt Lake City.

Kirk was northbound about 6:20 p.m. and was attempting a left turn onto 6200 South when the collision occurred with an oncoming southbound vehicle.

A passenger in Kirk's vehicle was critically injured, as was the driver of the second pickup truck. Both were taken to Intermountain Medical Center. They were listed in critical condition Tuesday, Bennett said.

No citations were issued as the investigation into the cause of the crash continued.

Police declined to release any further information about the accident's survivors at this time.
