Ogden police confirmed Tuesday they have made an arrest in the stabbing of a 45-year-old man found dead in his apartment three days before Christmas.

Lt. Scott Sangberg identified the suspect as 49-year-old Robert Lee McCullar. He was booked Monday into the Weber County jail on suspicion of homicide, said Weber County Attorney Dee Smith.

Smith said Tuesday that McCullar has been charged with murder in the incident.

Police were called Dec. 22 about 2 p.m. to an apartment near 2500 Adams Ave., where they discovered Filiberto Robles Bedolla dead on his bed. Police said Bedolla, also known as Gilberto Jesus-Robles, was stabbed and his throat had been slashed.

McCullar is expected to make his initial court appearance today.
