A 37-year-old man has been indicted in a string of armed robberies at pizzerias, coffee shops and a convenience store in Salt Lake County.

A federal indictment issued Wednesday charges Victor Ray Hall, of Salt Lake City, of 11 counts of violating the Hobbs Act, which prohibits an actual or attempted robbery that affects interstate commerce. The robberies allegedly committed by Hall began with a Dec. 27 heist at a Little Caesars Pizza and ended with a Jan. 17 robbery at a Beans and Brew Coffee House.

Also named in the indictment is Tamara D. Elfstrom, 32, of Salt Lake City, who is accused of participating in three of the robberies and charged with three counts of violating the Hobbs Act.
