Power has been restored to all of Rocky Mountain Power's Salt Lake City customers after a vehicle hit a utility pole Monday morning, knocking out electricity to nearly 2,000 customers.
Jeff Hymas, a spokesman for Rocky Mountain Power, said most electricity was back on shortly after 1 p.m. The remaining 26 customers' power was back on about 3:45 p.m., he said.
A vehicle struck the pole about 10:20 a.m. at 1858 S. 1300 East, Hymas said.
Salt Lake City Fire Department spokesman Mark Bednarik said when crews arrived to the crash scene they saw the pole severed but could not find the vehicle that hit it.
