The Davis County Health Department will hand out 14,000 tickets today to residents who want to get the H1N1 influenza vaccination.

Because supplies are limited, the tickets will give people a time and date to attend a mass vaccination clinic in the upcoming days to receive the doses.

The tickets will be given out today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bountiful Regional Center, 835 N. 400 East in North Salt Lake, and at the Legacy Events Center, 151 S. 1100 West, Farmington.

The tickets will give people a specific slot during the three upcoming clinics at the Davis Conference Center, 800 West Heritage Park Blvd. in Layton. Vaccines will be given out on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The H1N1 vaccine comes in both a nasal spray and injectable form. The vaccine is available to those who are pregnant, caregivers to children younger than 6 months, 6 months to 24 years old, health care or emergency personnel, or 25 to 64 years old with an underlying medical condition.
