An 18-year-old is accused of stabbing his younger brother with a box cutter during a fight at their West Valley City home.
In charges filed this week, police wrote that doctors on Nov. 11 found eight separate stab wounds to the 16-year-old victim, including a wound that missed his jugular vein by about a half inch. One cut on his forearm required 35 stitches, police wrote.
The victim's older brother is charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault.
