Antelope Island State Park closed Saturday night so searchers could look for man who committed suicide.

A helicopter spotted the man's body about 9 a.m. Sunday on the north end of the island. Park workers on Saturday had found an abandoned car belonging to a man reported to be suicidal.

Park manager Ron Taylor said park workers evacuated two campers staying at the park and sheriff's deputies arrived to search for the man. The park reopened about 10 a.m. Sunday.
