Southbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Utah County have reopened after a crash closed them Monday morning.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, all lanes of southbound I-15 in American Fork were closed because of a single-vehicle rollover that occurred about 8:15 a.m.

Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden said a Mazda 626 with two people in it overturned in the high-occupancy-vehicle lane after it was cut off by another car. A helicopter was called, but the two people were later taken to hospitals by ambulance in fair condition. One was a 79-year-old man and the other was a 73-year-old female. Both are from St. George.

The car was dragged from the HOV lane and the interstate was reopened before 9:30 a.m., Roden said.
