A former Salt Lake area disc jockey pleaded guilty to looking at child pornography on his home computer.

Larry Hunsaker -- who had worked at KSOP radio and used the name Larry Hunter -- pleaded guilty to two second-degree felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. As part of a plea deal, eight similar counts were dismissed.

Hunsaker, 71, of West Jordan, faces up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 22 by 3rd District Judge Deno Himonas.

Investigators found images on Hunsaker's computer showing children being sexually victimized by adults, according to charging documents.

The defendant was fired in April after a radio listener informed the station that charges had been filed.

Hunsaker had worked at the station since the mid-1960s. In recent years, he was a part-time employee who worked a weekend midnight shift.
