Salt Lake City police are looking for a man who robbed Gift Basket Affairs with a knife Wednesday.
The man walked into the store, located at 160 E. 800 South, through the back door about 2:20 p.m., said Salt Lake City Police Sgt. Robin Snyder. He approached the 57-year-old female clerk as she talked on the phone and grabbed it out of her hands, demanding money. She opened the register as he pulled another phone out of the wall.
She ran out of the store, leaving him inside. He took the money from the register and left. He is described as 5-feet-10-inches tall and thin, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a cloth covering his nose and mouth.
