Four Utah County men accused of trapping two teens in a truck and sexually assaulting them earlier this month in Highland have each been charged with first-degree felonies that are punishable by up to life in prison.

The alleged attackers are Kyle Anderson, 18, of Lindon; Jace M. Blickenstaff, 20, of Lindon; Shawn Havili, 18, of Pleasant Grove, and Jared E. Holland, 18, of Pleasant Grove.

They are charged in 4th District Court with two counts each of forcible sexual abuse for events that occurred in the early hours of Oct. 7.

The alleged victims, females age 17 and 18, were riding with the men when the men attempted to remove the females' clothing, according to a Lone Peak police affidavit.

The 17-year-old girl was in the front center seat when Blickenstaff took off her pants, shirt and bra and put the clothes under his seat so she could not get them back, according to police.

He and Holland, who was driving, then fondled the girl, police wrote. The girls allegedly were yelling at the men to stop the truck and let them go.

Meanwhile, in the back seat, Havili and Anderson attempted to remove the 18-year-old's clothing, while all four men fondled her, police said.

But the 18-year-old said she fought them off, "kicking and screaming the entire time," according to police. The men finally stopped, let the 18-year-old victim out and she ran, police wrote.

would only return her clothes if she got back into the truck, according to police. She complied, and was later dropped off at American Fork Junior High School.

Police were called at about 3:45 a.m. and the four men were arrested and jailed.

All four later bailed out, hired attorneys and were arraigned in court.

A scheduling hearing for the four defendants is set for Nov. 18 before Judge Claudia Laycock.
