Several accidents kept police busy on Bangerter Highway overnight, police said.
Between 9 p.m. and midnight, officers dealt with six crashes between 13400 South and 900 West on Bangerter, said Salt Lake County sheriff's Lt. Don Hutson.
All of those crashes were minor and no one was hurt, but at about 11:20 p.m. a crash near 13600 South left a woman with serious injuries. She lost control of her Jeep Liberty on the ice and it flipped onto its side. An oncoming pickup truck couldn't avoid the SUV and hit it. The Jeep driver was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital; a woman driving the pickup wasn't hurt.
