FBI Special Agent in Charge Tim Fuhrman will take the equivalent post for the FBI region based in Mobile, Ala., spokesman Juan Becerra confirmed Thursday.
Fuhrman has been in charge of the FBI in Utah since April 2005 and also oversees the FBI in Idaho and Montana. In Utah, he oversaw or his agents had a role in the pursuit of polygamist leader Warren Jeffs, the search for murdered 5-year-old Destiny Norton and in serving indictments for alleged artifact looting in southeast Utah.
