Salt Lake City police are looking for a man in two robberies Wednesday evening.
About 8:45 p.m., a man walked into the Tesoro gas station at 2280 S. Highland Drive, indicated he had a gun and demanded money from the till, said Sgt. Robin Snyder.
He was described as a American Indian man, 55 to 60 years old and 6 feet tall with a thin build and long, scraggly black hair that may have been a wig. He was wearing a white baseball cap, black zip-up sweatshirt, jeans and white shoes. He ran north, then west.
About 15 minutes later, a man matching that description walked into the Sconecutter restaurant at 29 E. 2100 South, indicated he had a gun and demanded cash, Snyder said. He ran west.
