Two suspects in a Wendover casino theft were captured Friday after a massive manhunt in Tooele County ended with a high-speed chase.

The two 19-year-old men were believed to be involved in a burglary of the Montego Bay casino in West Wendover. Nev., said Tooele County sheriff's Sgt. Ron Johnson. They allegedly fled in a car stolen from a casino employee.

Tooele County deputies attempted to pull over the men on Interstate 80 after checking the vehicle's registration and noticing it had been suspended, Johnson said. The two men took off in the vehicle, leading police on a chase for a few miles before the vehicle's tires were spiked, forcing the car to stop.

The men jumped out of the vehicle and fled, but were captured by police around 9 a.m. not far from where they abandoned the car, Johnson said.

A state SWAT team and state helicopter as well as Tooele County's SWAT team assisted in the search.
