Salt Lake City police hold motorcycle charity ride

The Salt Lake City Police Department is organizing a massive motorcycle charity ride to mark a century of service.

The ride, which may have 100 riders, begins at 9:45 a.m. at Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 N. Mario Capecchi Drive in Salt Lake City. A Centennial Motors Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Washington Square, 451 S. State Street, Salt Lake City.

Riders will tour area reservoirs before arriving at the City-County Building. Donations from the event will go to Primary Children's Medical Center.
