A Provo woman died as she drove through Sugar City, Idaho, this weekend.
Idaho State Police said 19-year-old Kristan R. Lusvardi was driving east on U.S. 20 just north of Sugar City when her Volvo drifted through a median and across westbound lanes of the highway.
The car then went through a fence and stopped in a ditch, Idaho police said.
Lusvardi was flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Police suspect alcohol and drugs were a factor in the crash, and Lusvardi was not wearing a seat belt. An investigation is ongoing.
