Search and rescue teams today found two hikers who got lost on Mount Olympus on Tuesday.

Teams from the Salt Lake County sheriff's office searched for hours after the 23-year-old man and 19-year-old woman called police about 7 p.m., said Lt. Don Hutson. The boyfriend and girlfriend veered off the Mount Olympus trail to the north and lost their way, he said. A search helicopter located the pair, then dropped off a team above their location. Another team started from below, and they reached the pair sometime after midnight.

Neither was hurt and officers walked them back down the mountain.
