Utah's number of confirmed H1N1 swine flu cases continues to grow, up to 60 as of Friday.
That's 33 more than reported Thursday.
The state Health Department said Friday's jump is probably due to more Utahns being tested and because Utah's public health lab is now able to do its own confirmation testing, instead of sending swabs to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
More than half of the confirmed cases are from Summit County, followed by Salt Lake County.
Summit County Health Department: 32 confirmed cases.
Salt Lake Valley Health Department: 18 confirmed, 1 probable.
Weber-Morgan Health Department: 1 confirmed, 1 probable.
Utah County Health Department: 3 confirmed (2 were not present in Utah during their incubation period or illness).
Central Utah Health Department: 3 confirmed.
Southwest Utah Public Health Department: 2 confirmed.
Southeast Utah Public Health Department: 1 confirmed.
