A 53-year-old Salt Lake City man died over the weekend from injuries he suffered March 17 when he was struck by a vehicle.
Kelly Dale Almond was walking from behind a truck parked along 400 North at 307 West when a the vehicle ran into him, police said.
Almond was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, but he died three days later from extensive head and abdominal injuries, said Salt Lake City Detective Dennis McGowan.
Police have said the driver was speeding at the time of the accident. Investigators are still determining whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
