Salt Lake City police are searching for a man who robbed a magazine store at gunpoint on Friday evening. A man entered Bob's Magazine, 1207 S. State St., through a back door around 7 p.m., said Salt Lake City police Lt. Craig Gleason. The man, who wore a fake beard and brandished a handgun, demanded money from a store clerk. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, possibly in a cream-colored car, Gleason said. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance of the robbery to determine a more detailed description of the man, he said. No one was injured during the incident.
