Chabad Lubavitch of Utah on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. will hold a memorial for Rabbi Gabi and Rivky Holtzberg, who along with their guests were taken hostage and killed last week at a Chabad center in Mumbai, India.

"There are no words to articulate the depth of our pain," Rabbi Benny Zippel of Chabad Lubavitch of Utah said Monday in a statement. " After having sat glued to media reports for 40 hours before the tragic news came out, waiting, praying and hoping for a good conclusion, we are left to mourn."

Thursday's memorial at 1760 S. 1100 East, Salt Lake City, will include a lecture by Rabbi Dov Greenberg executive director of the Rohr Chabad House at Stanford University, who will address the topic, "Faith and Suffering: Where is God When it Hurts?"

To RSVP for the memorial, which is free, send an e-mail to rabbi@jewishutah.com.
