An Ogden woman is suing a California company for allegedly failing to pay her for work she did in adult films.

Tamara Vandyck said she entered an agreement in 1996 with Dennio Enterprises, an Oceanside adult film distributor, to be a "model" in films produced by the company. The deal called for her to be paid a salary, commission and royalties, according to a suit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City.

Vandyck said her modeling helped Dennio, which distributes films via the Internet, gain fame and notoriety in the adult movie business. She says she was paid the agreed amount until about Jan. 1, 2007, when company operators Elisabeth and Stephen Flores began representing old videos of her as new material.

The suit alleges that Vandyck has suffered financial devastation, loss of reputation and severe emotional distress. She is seeking unspecified monetary damages.

The defendants could not be reached for immediate comment.
