Fire destroyed or damaged at least 144 portable toilets at United Site Services in Ogden on Friday afternoon, but firefighters quickly contained the blaze, said Ogden Deputy Fire Chief Chad Tucker. The fire started at about 12:20 p.m. when employees lost control of a debris fire at the business, located at 1262 W. 3050 South. An airplane ramp built in an adjacent business, Jetway FMC, was also destroyed. No was was injured and crews were reportedly mopping up less than an hour later. A damage figure was not immediately available.
