A prosecutor on Wednesday filed a negligent homicide charge against a driver accused of running over a woman at Salt Lake City International Airport.
Evelini Kinikini faces up to a year in jail if convicted of the Class A misdemeanor. She also is charged with a lesser misdemeanor for failure to have vehicle insurance. She is wanted on a $10,000 warrant.
About 8 p.m. on July 22, Patricia Dawn Jordan, 65, was crossing traffic outside Terminal Two. Prosecutors allege Kinikini drove into Jordan, of Oxford, Md., who died three days later.
