A Washington state woman died in a traffic crash Tuesday in Millard County.
Megan J. Roscoe, 25, was the passenger in a Ford Ranger that was traveling east on U.S. Highway 6 near Hinckley around 2 p.m., when it drifted off the right side of the road, troopers wrote in a press statement. The driver overcorrected into the opposite lane and again into the eastbound lane. The car rolled multiple times.
Roscoe, of Harbor, Wash., was wearing a seatbelt but may have been wearing it incorrectly, troopers said. She was ejected and died of her injuries. The driver, a 26-year-old man from Bremerton, Wash., was treated at a hospital and released.
